I choose this picture of Hogwarts because it is really good. It has a lot of value and darkness to the picture that really defines Hogwarts Castle. The bright moon adds the creepy scary feeling of the Castle.
During this unit our teacher told us to draw this man drawing she gave us upside down. It was difficult at first but I started to observe the drawing and tried to find a spot i would like to draw with. The more I observed my drawing the more detail and more realistic my drawing got. Observing the horse drawing my teacher told us to draw was very easy I knew where to start my drawing. I didn't need to observe this drawing as much as I did for the man drawing. Since it was easy I really started to try to put a lot of detail as I could. What makes this drawing my drawing is I took all of my past project drawings and put it into this one whole drawing which made it really unique. I had to observe my original drawings to get the full authenticity of my drawing. I learned it was hard to put all of my drawings into one drawing. When I first started to draw my painting I knew it was going to be hard to paint within the lines I created for my drawing. I chose watercolor because I was comfortable and confident with my ability to stay within the boundaries for my painting. When I started to paint batman it was hard to stay within the lines with his face being so small. Next time I will make a bigger face or i will use acrylic paint. Over all I enjoyed painting it and i thought it turned out well. |
